YafaRay4tS Main UI Help
The main user interface is divided up into 6 panels:

Background Settings Panel
Background type - Background shader type to use: Constant, Gradient, Image, or SunSky.
Color -Color to use for Constant background shader.
Power - Power of light cast by the background.
Image
Use IBL - Use the background as a lighting source. Use background on the "Default" tab must also be checked.
Probe - Set background image type to light probe.
Sphere - Set background image type to spherical projection.
IBL samples - Number of samples to be taken when doing lighting calculations from background image.
Rotation - Horizontal rotation of background image.
Gradient
Sky color - Zenith color.
Ground color - Ground color.
Sky Horizon color - Sky horizon color.
Ground Horizon color - Ground horizon color.
Sun Sky
Use Sun - Turn sun on or off.
X - X component of Sun vector postion.
Y - Y component of Sun vector position.
Z - Z component of Sun vector position.
Power - Amount of light sun adds to scene.
Background light - Use background in light calculations.
Turbidity - Controls the density of particles in the air. The higher the value the more sunlight will be diffused into the sky.
Horizon Brightness - Controls the brightness of the horizon colors.
Spread - Controls the edge transition of the horizon.
Sun Brightness - Controls the brightness of the sun.
Sun Size - Controls the size of the sun.
Backscatter - Controls the sun's color appearance and that of the halo around it.
Sun Sky
Fog Type - Selects the fog type.
Step Size - Sets the step size value.
Adaptive - Turns adaptive fog calculation on.
Optimize - Turns optimize on.
Turbidity - Fog density.
Alpha - Fog alpha parameter.
Sigma - Fog sigma parameter.
